The establishment of Diani-art goes back to 80’s when we were acquainted being the students of the same university. This acquintance resulted by marriage on 1987 before our most important project “Damla” joined us on 1989. Although the severe critics by families friends , we started our adventures in Russia , by taking along the baby Damla to Russia when she was only 6 months old . The 90’s were the transformation period in the former soviet union and the world as a whole . While everything was being transformed Damla became Damlushka as our russian friends call her. We belive that the once in a life time experiences in Russia had contributed a lot to our personel development beyond our perception of the world totally. Meanwhile some unexpected changes in the professional life forced us ( DI and ANI) to form an own business. Being the co-partners of group of companies dealing with Contracting, Travel and Transport business , we had a succesfull business experience based on the original and creative aproaches where human and creativity were the key elements . After 10 years of heavily intense business life, we got awared that the life is not limited to earning money, meetings and business travel etc and have taken the decision to transfer our rights and obligations to our partners By that decision we left all the titles behind and have chosen to continue to live by searching ourselves as Demet & Akif only. During this process some works on ceramics & photography came out and the idea of creation of a website appeared in mind.
